Well fans this is the first of what could be many blogs. I am writing from a remote location far removed from our Happy Hour haunts. So you could say that I have the week off. A few weeks ago Jane and I decided to meet at Aleworks to quote “Get after it”
Started off finding the only two seats left at the bar and ordered a Crown Rocks and a Stella. Speaking of Stella, Jane and I need to find a nick name for our sidekick and sometimes partner in shenanigans. Anyways Jane rolls in about 3 sips later and proceeds to ordered some kind of tequila drink (forgive me dear readers things got fuzzy quick). Anyways interruption #1 happens when we run into a gentleman and his wife who we both knew soon to be followed by his boss and his family and more people that we both knew. Elk Poutine was ordered and the drinks they kept a coming. When asked by Jane to recap the night I got a “dude all I know is a pile of tequila, a parade of people we both knew”
Sounds like a good time was had by all
The Aleworks gets a 3.5 shot glasses out of 5 Don’t remember much about the Putine though
